Delicacy of the Grave
Silently present in our food is the
delicacy of the Grave, a dangerous issue.
According to Nutrition Epidemiology

Every day, many Kenyans find fast foods
meaningful because they bring culture, ease, and comfort. Even so, there is a
serious threat hidden in these delicious foods: a continuous and ongoing
exposure to toxins.
Based on Dr. Stellah Bosire’s writing for
the Daily Nation, our food system is secretively working against us. Although
our food can look the same, it may introduce us to some harmful toxins,
pesticides, heavy metals, and questionable additives. There are many food
risks, such as diseases in green vegetables, tainted cooking oil, and used
frying oil that do not always show signs.
You Can Find Hidden Patterns From an
Epidemiologist’s Standpoint In terms of
public health, what’s happening with eating habits is not only about diets—it
is becoming a significant health problem.
Here's why:
Consuming food containing toxins is linked
more and more with such health conditions as cancer, metabolic syndrome, high
blood pressure, and liver disease. As a rule, they appear in the body after
years of contact with them.
Food infection is possible with Salmonella, E. coli, or typhoid fever because informal food preparers usually lack access to clean water, good sanitation, and cool storage. Those especially at risk, for example pregnant women, children, the elderly, and immunocompromised people, can suffer more from regularly eating foods that have become contaminated.
Running or any simple activity can prevent
many illnesses. Along with changes in overall food rules and safety, people
should also change their habits to prevent diseases. Doing little physical
activity regularly can lower the health risks.
By improving metabolic function, tea helps
liver and kidneys eliminate toxins from the body.

tempted to eat more.
Taking a walk, doing indoor workouts, or stretching can matter a lot, particularly to those who rely on meals that are both low-cost and risky.
In the end, we must realize our
responsibilities. “Delicacy of the Grave” is something more than a saying—it
happens due to poor maintenance of structures, negative food policies, and life
imbalances. Since all of us have a role in public health, we should ask for
clean food, safe vendors, informed eaters, and a society that focuses on health
instead of working long hours.
After
ending our meals, we should continue with new ideas and ways to engage on these
issues in pour dietery plannings .
